James Huang is a freelance multi-hyphenate. Born on August 3, 1994 in Beaufort, South Carolina, James was raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In 2015, James directed, shot, and edited an original documentary that premiered at the 48th Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. In 2016, He started the first street photography club at his university. In 2018, he began filming, and eventually making music with electronic trap group, NITeMrkt, and has since performed at google Hq, globe theater, the belasco, and opened for snoop dogg. at the end of 2018, he began getting involved with theaterworkers project, a program designed to help formerly incarcerated individuals readjust to society. His video work has been featured on HipHopDX, Earmilk, DeadEndHipHop, IndyWeek and The Chinese American Museum Los Angeles (CAMLA).
He now resides in chapel hill, NC.
